Obituary

BERRYHILL- Larry R. Berryhill, Sr. age 73, of Alpine Township, entered into eternal rest, peacefully the morning of Tuesday, November 5, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Phyllis (Alt) Berryhill; his children, Larry (Erin) Berryhill and Kelli (Laura) Berryhill. He is also survived by two grandchildren he adored, Ada and Eli, as well as his dog, Otto; sister, Diane (Dave) Hickox; sister-in-law, Kathleen (Wayne) Jones; brothers-in-law, Carl (Bonnie) Alt, and Norbert (Sue) Alt. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Reta Berryhill and his sister, Bonnie Ploeg. Larry served his country for 4 years in the United States Air Force. He retired from GM, 36th Street Plant, after 24 years in the Tool and Die trade. The family will greet family and friends on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue N.W., Comstock Park, with a Rosary service at 7:30 p.m., with Deacon Jerry Roersma. The Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Larry's life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1200 Alpine Church Road, Comstock Park with Rev. Father Dick Host and Rev. Father Thomas G. Simons, presiding. Private interment will be held in Alpine Center Cemetery. In memory of Larry, please consider memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

I'm close with Larry's son and daughter-in-law, and I consider them both people I'm lucky to know. His spirit will live on.
